Virginia "Gini" Davis, PT, MA - Physical Therapist /Owner
Following a varied career that started as a Captain and physical therapist in the US Army Medical Specialist Corp. during the Vietnam conflict, Virginia "Gini" Davis worked for nearly 15 years in a wide variety of physical therapy settings before she founded CCPT in April 1983. As Owner and President of CCPT, Gini continues to practice physical therapy along a broad range of treatments and with a specialization in the treatment of foot and ankle pain and dysfunction. As a compliment to her treatment of foot/ankle problems, Gini also fabricates and modifies orthotics and fits/recommends shoe wear from Perfect Fit Shoes and Supplies. Gini has had numerous articles published and book contributions related to the Prevention and Treatment of Running Injuries. Gini is the Training Director of the Crescent City Classic 10K Roadrace and each year has published her training guide. As an avid runner herself, Gini treats and helps many runners and active people return to their events and activities. Always striving to promote excellence in her profession, Gini was instrumental in bringing a PTPN (Physical Therapy Provider Network) network to Louisiana and Mississippi in 1992. She has served as PTPN's President/Co-Founder for the last 10 years. PTPN members focus on delivering comprehensive, cost-effective and high quality outpatient rehabilitation services. In addition, Gini has published and lectured nationally on a wide variety of clinical and administrative topics to such organizations as the American Physical Therapy Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Louisiana Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, Louisiana Claims Association, Louisiana Bar Association, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Gini obtained her Masters of Arts in Health Science, Ball State University, Muncie, IN; her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA); and her certification in Physical Therapy, U.S. Army Medical Field Service School, Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. She is also a certified ASTYM provider.
Arthur Kirsch, MPT, OCS - Physical Therapist / Clinic Director
As one of CCPT's physical therapists, Arthur provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment to those patients with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, dysfunctions and/or diagnoses. As Clinic Director, Arthur also supervises the daily operation of the treatment area and of other staff. Arthur is ASTYM certified and a certified DSI FCE evaluator and provider of Post-Offer and Fit for Duty testing. Arthur has been part of the CCPT team since February 2006. He graduated from Louisiana State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree of Physical Therapy. In 2010, Arthur earned the American Physical Therapy Association’s prestigious Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) accreditation.
Kate Deville - Physical Therapist Assistant
Kate is a 2010 graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Delgado Community College. As a PTA Kate works closely with CCPT physical therapists to treat and to progress patient treatment. Kate has an extensive background in dance, both as a participant and as an instructor and works with the physical therapist in the treatment of our dance related injuries and musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Kate is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and thus adds excellence to CCPT treatment of "soft tissue" problems, muscular tightness and other contractures of soft tissues. Kate began working with CCPT immediately after obtaining her PTA diploma and professional license.
Rachel Redditt - Physical Therapist Assistant
Rachel is a Physical Therapist Assistant who works under the direction of CCPT physical therapists to treat and to progress physical therapy treatment. She has been a valued part of the CCPT team since August 2009. Rachel obtained her BA in Sociology/Minor in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University and an Associate of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant from Delgado Community College.
Oscar Pineda - Physical Therapy Techician
Oscar has worked with CCPT since October 2008 and assists the therapists by providing assistance to patients when completing their treatment by monitoring them during their treatment and setting up various modalities. Oscar also keeps us all up to date with our World Champion Saints and with the world of soccer. Always a smile on his face and helpful to everyone, Oscar is a valued member of the CCPT team. Oscar obtained his Associate of Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Delgado Community College. Oscar is bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
Shirnell Carr - Front Office Coordinator/Receptionist
Shirnell has been with CCPT since January 2000. She is usually the first point of contact with CCPT - from receiving physician referrals, assisting patients with insurance authorization, scheduling patient appointments to greeting you when you arrive. Shirnell is a valuable CCPT staff member with her many years of service, expertise with the "details" of insurance authorization and her congenial, helpful personality.
Evelyn Murray - Billing Coordinator
Evelyn joined the CCPT team in July 2000 as a Physical Therapy Technician. Since then she has served in a number of roles, including Receptionist, and Billing Coordinator. Always helpful and willing " to do", Evelyn's broad range of experience provides her with a well-rounded basis for assisting you along your road to full rehabilitation.
